Meet Our Team 

Nia’s team has over 35 years of experience in 20 different African markets. Sarah is Nia’s CEO & Founder and is the visionary for a new future for investing on the continent.

Sarah has been working in Africa for over 10 years, living in Rwanda, Kenya, Liberia, Sierra Leone and South Africa. Sarah completed a PhD at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, focusing on the effectiveness of impact investing in small African markets. 
 

After six years working with local entrepreneurs, impact investors, VCs and accelerators, Sarah started to look for tangible solutions to fill the mass market gaps in the impact space. She started connecting entrepreneurs to global investors, and saw an opportunity to use her research to build a wholistic solution. 

Sarah has advised for the CDC, IFC, World Bank, UNCDF and HNWIs. She also taught at Oxford on integrating the private sector with development. Sarah advises African and global corporations on their impact strategy and community engagement.

Tsireledzo Mulaudzi is a seasoned professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Venda. With over four years of experience in the impact management space, she has provided expert consultancy services to a diverse range of clients, including NGOs, renewable energy enterprises, mining sectors, foundations, private funds, and family offices.

 

Her proficiency lies in crafting meticulous theories of change, development  of impact strategies, establishing robust frameworks for measuring and evaluating outcomes and the developing of comprehensive ESG  reports, further bolstering her contribution to sustainable practices within organizations.

Junior Climate & Gender Consultant 

Rania brings a wealth of expertise in research and sustainability, underpinned by her Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London, where she graduated with First Class Honors. Her academic journey has finely honed her skills in both rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis. A hallmark of Rania's proficiency is exemplified in her notable publication, "Carbon Sequestration Opportunities around the Globe," featured in the Environmental Science: Advances Journal. 

 

Rania's extensive research background underscores her unwavering commitment to exploring effective strategies for mitigating carbon emissions and championing climate sustainability. With a proven track record of conducting comprehensive analyses in these critical areas, she brings to the table a robust foundation of technical expertise and a steadfast dedication to advancing sustainability objectives.
